Samsung Boosts Business Productivity With All New Laser Printer Line-Up

Samsung Xpress M2875 and ProXpress M4070 series feature powerful 600MHz CortexA5 processors and versatile mobile printing capabilities

PRINCIPALITY OF MONACO - February 4, 2013: Samsung Electronics today announces four new laser and multifunction printers designed to help small and medium-sized businesses boost their productivity and lower their operational costs.

Powerful performance with 600MHz Cortex-A5 processor

Powerful performance and reliability are at the core of the Xpress M2875 and ProXpress M4070 series. These new printers are powered by a 600MHz Cortex-A5 processor and feature high capacity memory for ultra-fast output speeds of up to 28 to 40 pages-per-minute. The Xpress M2875 and ProXpress M4070 series support a variety of paper types, including thick paper or cardstock, directly from the paper cassette and MP Tray.

The new printers feature Samsung's unique Rendering Engine for Clean Pages (ReCP) technology, which sharpens the edges of positive texts and enhances the readability of negative texts, producing some of the crispest outputs in business printing. 

Competitive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

The Xpress M2875 and ProXpress M4070 series have been designed to be both cost competitive and environmental friendly. With a higher yield toner, the printers are able to print more while reducing the overall number of toner replacements.

Equipped with Samsung's Easy Eco Driver solution, the Xpress M2875 and ProXpress M4070 series enable custom settings to manage and control printing costs. For example, in the Eco driver tab, it is possible to set the Eco settings to avoid printing unnecessary texts or images, resulting in a more efficient use of toner and paper. The built-in duplexer, as well as printing multiple images on a single page, adds to the cost savings.

To further enhance the cost savings, these printers are also equipped with the One Touch Eco button, which automatically combines multiple pages into a single print output, saving time, paper, toner and money. As a result, the Xpress M2875 and ProXpress M4070 series require fewer toner cartridge replacements and deliver a lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Easy Printing Solutions

The Xpress M2875 and ProXpress M4070 series include Samsung's Easy Printer Manager for easy real-time monitoring of printer usage, as well as easy-to-view statistics on printer maintenance for quick and accurate reporting.

These new printers are very versatile and easy-to-use with mobile devices, such as smartphones, notebook PCs and tables. As these mobile devices are increasingly being used, the Xpress M2875 and ProXpress M4070 series offer all the printing functionality required in a dynamic, on-the-go environment. It is possible to access and print files and documents from any mobile device installed with the Samsung Mobile Print app.

UK availability

Samsung's 2013 laser printer line-up will be available to buy in the UK from resellers in April 2013. Pricing is subject to individual resellers.
