Amsterdam, 3 May 2013 - This year's Digital Summer will provide a stage for a whole range of innovative and unconventional monitor highlights. At this exclusive British IT event, both display specialist AOC and MMD, license partner for Philips monitors, will exhibit various monitors which combine creative product concepts with top-notch technology.
A broader perspective
The Digital Summer, as one of the biggest tech events in Britain, traditionally attracts a large number of influential media representatives who want to be in touch with the latest technology trends and innovations. For monitors, extra-large resolutions, 21:9 format displays and new benefits for users in terms of ergonomics and connectivity are at the moment of particular interest. Both AOC and MMD therefore present high-resolution UltraWide IPS monitors in the Cinemascope format 21:9. Also on display in the same category: a 27" Philips PLS monitor with the QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

For gamers, AOC exhibits an ergonomically fully flexible 24″ Full HD model with the stunning refresh rate of 144 Hz and a one millisecond response time. From Philips there is the Gioco Ambiglow, a 3D-capable 27″ AH-IPS monitor. Ambiglow is a feature for an immersive gaming experience, made possible by a halo of ambient light.
New connections
MMD also presents the innovative USB Philips docking monitor 231P4UPES, which allows to directly connect the display and a whole set of peripherals to a laptop with just one USB 3.0 cable. And with the i2369Vm, AOC exhibits an entry-level IPS monitor with MHL connectivity for Android enthusiasts.
