NVIDIA Hardware is Technology of Choice for Delivering Rich Multimedia
Platform for Key Entertainment Applications, Including TV, DVD, and PC Games

REDMOND, WA - SEPTEMBER 30, 2003 - NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the
worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that its
comprehensive product suite for Microsoft® Windows® XP Media Center Edition
2004-based PCs is the technology of choice for the majority of desktop and
notebook Media Center PC models being introduced for the fall and holiday
buying seasons. NVIDIA technology is tailor-made for Media Center PCs,
powering a variety of multimedia applications, such as TV recording, DVD
playback, digital photos, music, video editing and 3D games.

"Delivering the full potential of the Media Center PC experience depends on
versatile hardware and software technologies which empower key applications,
including TV and DVD playback, with the same-or better-quality levels
achieved by traditional set-top alternatives," said Richard Doherty, market
analyst and Research Director of The Envisioneering Group. "NVIDIA has
consistently delivered cutting-edge graphics processors which enable better
visual experiences on the PC. For Media Center PCs, NVIDIA has extended a
proven graphics suite which delivers even higher-quality video capabilities,
boosting the entertainment uses of this PC entertainment system over time."

NVIDIA hardware extends the Media Center experience by enhancing critical
visual and audio capabilities. For Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004,
NVIDIA added support for crisp TV and DVD playback, through custom control
settings accessed through the Media Center user interface using a remote
control. These settings, exposed only through NVIDIA's new software suite,
give consumers more flexibility and control over their entertainment
experience.

"Media Center PC users are looking for a rich digital entertainment
experience and great video performance," said Brad Brooks, marketing
director of the Windows eHome Division at Microsoft Corp. "Digital video and
audio technology companies like NVIDIA are offering PC manufacturers the
opportunity to deliver a new range of home entertainment options to their
customers."

"The market opportunities for Media Center-based PCs are exceeding
everyone's expectations. We are pleased to be playing a role in helping to
fuel even more growth into this exciting new segment of digital computing,"
commented Dan Vivoli, executive vice president of marketing at NVIDIA. "We
are also thrilled that Microsoft and our Media Center PC customers recognise
the superior quality and stability of our video processing engine."

NVIDIA's comprehensive Media Center product suite includes GeForce(tm) FX
graphics, NVIDIA nForce(tm) media and communications processors, and the
NVIDIA MCE TV, a hardware MPEG-2 encode PCI tuner card. Each component is
designed to provide the most compatible, stable, and reliable platform for
experiencing digital entertainment applications.
