Introduction

EPoX 8RDA+ nForce2 Motherboard

Already looking to be something of a winner, nForce2-based motherboards are slowly filtering through into the hardware reviewing and retail channel. Promising hither-to unseen levels of performance, a highly integrated chipset, and rock-solid stability; there's little wonder than major motherboard manufacturers are clambering over each other to get their interpretation out to market as quickly as possible. Add to that the increase in PC-related sales at this time of the year, and you can see genuine desire for manufacturers to get their product on the shelves.

EPoX have made a name for themselves with motherboards generally aimed towards the enthusiast sector. Extremely adjustable BIOSes, relatively cheap prices, and performance that matches the best the industry have to offer, has meant that EPoX's star is on the rise. Let's see how their first attempt at an nForce2-based motherboard fares as we look at the 8RDA+.

It should be fast, stable, and have voltages that should scare most sane people.
