Introduction
I got another rather large bundle through my door last week, comprising of one of Overclockers Tornado cases and one of their guaranteed 1.4GHz Athlon Tbird bundles, this along with some other rather nice kit, would turn any self respecting overclocker/gamer into a drooling wreck on the floor. Anyway as I unpacked the box and started to build the package together, I realized just what a difference a good case makes, it all just fitted together very nicely, the full review of the case is for another day, but for now on with the Thunderbird bundleThe Blurb
"Abit KT7A-RAID/AMD Thunderbird 1.2GHz
Guaranteed to 1.4GHz+/ThermoEngine V60-4210 - Bundle"
Another first for OcUK - a bundle based around the new Abit KT7A-RAID Socket A
motherboard with the new wz01 BIOS pre-installed, an AMD Thunderbird 1.2GHz
processor pre-tested and guaranteed to an earth shattering 1.4GHz +(+ or -
10MHz). This is a very comfortable overclock for these CPU's and most will
achieve higher speeds. Supplied with full instructions this CPU runs at 112MHz
FSB. Supplied with a sachet of thermal compound. The high-performance
ThermoEngine V60-4210 CPU cooler completes this ultimate bundle."

Obviously the bundle doesn't include all the kit shown above but to test it properly I had to build it up with some decent kit, the bundle consist of the, Abit KT7A RAID motherboard, the 1200MHz CPU @ 1400MHz and of course the heat sink, the rest of the kit is up to you. When the review kit was dispatched OcUK where unfortunately out of stock of the Thermo engine heat sink, so I got sent the good old Globalwin FOP32, this has been around for a while but it still offers good performance and reasonable noise levels, anyway on with some pictures of the kit.
