Trick stick and conclusion. Is Pro Evo the best soccer game this year?

Pulling off tricks is just as fluid as ever before and they animate and feel more subtle than the exaggerated tricks in FIFA 07. You need to be extremely precise when executing the likes of the 360 roulette, because if you the lose the ball, the opposition will pass and react far quicker than before and all of a sudden you’ll be back tracking in order to stop the counter attack. We couldn’t see any changes to free-kicks so you’ll still need to be very skilful in order to score and penalties are still are rather dull affair. The goalkeepers are still as poor as ever and a number of back passes that we made were fumbled, almost resulting in the other side stealing an embarrassing goal

We’ve had numerous problems online, which should now all be fine and dandy thanks to a recent patch, but if you can get into a game Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is once again an excellent multiplayer experience.

Our expectations haven’t quite been exceeded in Pro Evolution Soccer 6. There are some animation enhancements, improved goalkeepers and movement on the pitch, but the lack of options has meant that it’s FIFA 07 that has managed to gain our vote as the most complete soccer game of the year. Unfortunately, the great goals that you score in Pro Evolution Soccer 6 can’t be saved to show-off to your friends; a feature that we used regularly when playing the PS2 version and Konami have really shot themselves in the foot with omitting the editing options. If they would have mirrored the PS2 functions than there’s no doubt that Pro Evolution Soccer 6 would be the complete football experience, as it stands it’s still as great as ever, but falls slightly short of the complete football experience.

Pros
Flowing matches
Improved tackling
AI enhancement

Cons
Lack of options
Can be unstable online
No real graphical improvements

Still a superb football title, but the lack of editing options on the Xbox 360 version is frustrating.

looks great. Pro evo fans must have title.
Imagine even the ps3 can get this title, no vibration is painful for all gamers.
agreed, this is a must have

its great on xbox live, however, it annoys me that i cant invite my friends to play against each other :undecided

EDIT: infact you can actually play against friends, go to create game, and select YES on the friends option, then go to the dashboard and click invite to play :)

must have been me being really dumb and not spotting it :)

i just wish they had the full team names and logo's
i just wish they didnt think adriano was superman, when hes average.
