Communicate between keyboard and mouse

Nestled in among the keyboard, just to the left of the 'A' button, and above 'Shift,' is the EasyShift+ button, which has become a standard feature of all ROCCAT's gaming keyboard - more about that in a second.

Flip the board over and you'll find a standard base that sports four rubber feet in each corner and two legs that allow you to tilt the keyboard at an angle of approximately six degrees. There are also routing channels for cable management if you wish to hide your wires away. On the top side of the board there's nothing to get excited about. Disappointingly, the Isku lacks a USB or audio port; a feature which we've always found useful with gaming keyboards.

Advanced anti-ghosting, allowing multiple keys to be pressed, and the 1,000Hz polling rate ensures a quick response. It feels a little weird switching from the clicky-feel of Razer's mechanical keyboard, the Black Widow Ultimate, but the Isku feels very comfortable to use, even after long periods of play.

What makes the ROCCAT Isku stand out from other gaming keyboards is the EasyShift technology, which allows you to activate macros for both the keyboard and mouse. The EasyShift feature effectively doubles the amount of buttons that you could program on ROCCAT's gaming mice, and this is the first time it can be used in combination with the keyboard. Essentially, it removes the need to press any buttons on your mouse whatsoever, meaning you can concentrate firmly on the action with your right hand.
