The Humble Bundle team has begun a great new pay-what-you-want bundle offer for PC gamers. The new bundle, called the Humble Tom Clancy Bundle, lets you 'pay what you want' for a group of six games including Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell games and 'beat the average' to unlock even more. The bundled games are all Ubisoft titles on U-Play and the promo has been instigated to raise the profile of the soon to be released Rainbow Six Siege (multiplayer beta starts on 24th Sept, full game launches on 1st December).
The base games pack is worth $179 according to the Humble Bundle crew. There are six games included in the 'pay what you want' group and these are Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 Gold, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - Multiplayer Beta. This time around it seems like the minimum payment is $1, $0.01 will not get you anything, not that I was trying, just investigating…
Those willing to pay above the average can get their hands on Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction Deluxe Edition, and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, plus some yet to be announced additions to the bundle. This contribution level requires a payment of $8.10 or better at the time of writing.
Going up another tier, gamers can pay $10 or more to secure all the above games plus Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist. If that's still not enough and you have $75 burning a hole in your pocket then you can splash out the cash to secure a full copy of Rainbow Six Siege when it is launched plus an 'exclusive' T-shirt and a voucher for 66 per cent off any three Ubisoft titles in the Humble Bundle Store.
When purchasing you can choose where your money goes, splitting the funds between Ubisoft, Charity and a Humble tip. So far over $270,000 has been raised by 33,000 sales of this bundle and you have nearly a fortnight left to participate.
