Thousands of strange looking aliens have begun to inhabit the world of Spore following the release of the Spore Creature Creator this week.

At the time of writing, some 350,000 creatures have been created and it hasn't taken long, a couple of days no less, for Electronic Arts to crack down on those people who have taken creative freedom a little too far by sending out warning emails telling them that their account will be banned if they continue.

Among those creatures in the firing line are those that resemble penises and aliens who engage in sexual activities (see pic below)

There are also some ingenious designs, including an Xbox 360 controller monster and EA Maxis software engineer Dan Moskowitz's creation 'Cheeky Monkey'.
