The run of DLC for Fallout 4 is coming to an end this August. Story-based expansion Nuka-World will provide a full stop to the flow of DLC for the popular game. It will be the sixth paid-for expansion offered by Bethesda but only the second story-based DLC, as others were focussed upon customisation and introducing extra content in the existing game world.

Currently there are four Fallout 4 DLCs available for purchase. These are Automatron, the Wasteland Workshop, Far Harbour, and the Contraptions Workshop which came out on 20th June. Later this month the Vault-Tec Workshop will arrive and finally Nuka-World is coming in August. All six of the DLCs can be grabbed via a Season Pass which costs $49.99 / £39.99, saving quite a bit of cash if the full collection of DLC appeals.

Nuka-World is a DLC set in a vast amusement park now populated by lawless Raiders. In this completely new region consisting of open wasteland and zones such as Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom and the Galactic Zone, you will be tasked with quests confronting Raiders and new creatures. Helping you progress and enjoy the new DLC there will be new weapons available among other things.

Bethesda says that it will be running betas of the new DLC before they go mainstream and up for sale. Now the flow of official DLC is coming to an end it doesn't mean that Fallout 4 fans will experience a new content drought. Remember there are lots of modders working on new content for the game with the help of the specially made Creation Kit for PCs, released back in April. Mods are currently limited to PC and Xbox gameplay and they were scheduled for availability for PS4 users by the end of June but that date has slipped, with no new date put forward.

Exactly why you should never pay in advance for DLC.

Huh? The season pass was a pretty good deal for anyone who bought it before far harbour. They would have paid £20 for 2 big DLCs, 1 medium DLC and 3 mini DLCs compared to if they bought them one by one for £55 or NV where you would have paid ~£40 for 4 medium-large DLCs and 2 mini DLCs.
Rata tatata tataoooh. :D

That depends entirely on whether they were expecting to get 4 quest/plot based DLCs as with Fo3 or not, I would have but I never ever buy games new. Except for Football Manager…
Have to admit, I love the cover art of these DLCs. Yeah, I'm a perv …and I own it. ;)
