Corsair has today confirmed the retail availability of two new gaming keyboards and two gaming mice.

The Vengeance K60 gaming keyboard, which HEXUS previewed back in October, is designed for FPS gamers and features cherry MX red mechanical key switches, full key matrix anti-ghosting, ten sculpted FPS keys and a brushed aluminium chassis.

It pairs up with the Vengeance M60 laser gaming mouse, which sports a 5700 DPI, an alumina unibody design with adjustable centre of gravity, programmable lift detection, a high-mass scroll wheel, and PTFE glide pads. The big selling point with the M60 is the dedicated sniper button which switches the mouse to a high DPI-resolution mode.

M60 Mouse

The Vengeance K90 keyboard and Vengeance M90 gaming mouse are designed for MMO and RTS gaming. The back-lit keyboard has 18 programmable macro keys, the ability to program up to 54 macros, full anti-ghosting, 20-key rollover and 1ms reporting rate.

The M90 mouse has a whopping 15 programmable buttons and comes equipped with flash memory to switch between macros and up to six profiles. Like the M60 it features 5700 DPI and PTFE glide pads for smooth movements.

I quite like the look and spec K60 but what are the alternatives for mechanically switched keyboards? Are the prices similar?
Also is anyone going to get one and give us an idea of build quality etc? :)

cheers
I think the vast majority (if not all) of the mechanical keyboard available are in the £100+ price-range.
Im still confused as to why corsair didnt go full mechanical… quiet a few of the keys are still the standard rubber dome keys - bit of a scam given the price of these vs other ‘full mechanical’ keyboards imo…
Is it bad that I'd buy the K90 and M90 purely for the cool blue glow?! :P
