You judge and be judged

The variations are immense, and it has to be said, once you’ve grasped the interface and the wording, it’s a doddle. In the example our fantastic game developer created in a few short moments, a Flame Wall was positioned and timed, and then with some minor (she nearly died) sacrificial moves, she dragged the Mob’s into the trap and it sprung.

And Dante’s peak/pinnacle? Upload them (after you’ve played them to you satisfaction, naturally) and share them with the world. And be JUDGED! By the same token you can also download other people’s Trials and judge them yourself, & maybe even pick up some tips on what makes the finest challenge. We loved this. While you might create a right stinker of a level first time, one that my Gran could wander through with nought but her handbag as a weapon, you might also make a corker. Bear in mind my Gran is dead though, so she may be one of the minions attacking!

If Hack and Slash was your thing, but you’re feeling inspired to do better than the creators, then create! “Trials of St. Lucia” has your name on it. And my Gran’s.
