Here's the CH-02 from its Mesh series.
It's available in all-silver, all-black, black with green door, or black with a red door. Nice
The CH-02 has space for 3 5.25in and 5 3.5in drives.
Cooling is provided by a 120mm fan at the rear with an optional 120mm that can be fitted at the top. In addition, a couple 92mm fans can be positioned to cool the hard drives.
Like most modern designs, the hard drive, floppy drive and CD/DVD drive installation, as well as the expansion cards, is tool-less.
The CH-02 is also available with an optional windowed side-panel and will be available to buy from August onwards
Here's the workstation-based WH-02 from the Smart series. Like the Model-T it's available in every colour as long as it's black.
Has space for 9 (yes, 9) 5.25in drives and a single 3.5in drive.
The 5.25in drive-bays are designed to accept SAS/SATA backplanes for hard drives.
Cooling is provided by a single 120mm fan with space for an optional top-mounted 120mm fan.
Like the CH-02, the floppy drive and CD/DVD drive installation is tool-less. The hard-drive installation is a little different, though.
Again, a windowed model will be optional and it should, like the CH-02, be available in August.
The GH-01 is available in all-silver or all-black. It has internal space for 3 5.25in and 4 3.5in drives.
Cooling is provided by a 120mm fan at the rear and a 80mm at the front. Dual 92mm fans can be optionally fitted on the side-panel - assuming a non-windowed panel has been purchased.
We reckon the GH-01 must be built to a pretty low price point as only the 5.25in drive-bays are tool-less.
Chieftec claims to be unique in supplying both AC97 and HD-Audio-style cables for the front-panel audio connections.
On the top of the case, where the plastic moulding is, you can use the slots to store your favourite CD/DVDs.
Again, a window is optional and the GH-01 is available right now.
