From the school of re-inventing the wheel...
You can't help wondering why companies come up with some of the products they do?Ideas at COMPUTEX 2007 range from the downright strange (flavoured screen-wipes) to the plain daft, such as the KB-2100 LCD calculator keyboard. Try as I might, I just can't imagine what you'd want one of these for when there's been a perfectly good calculator built into every copy of Windows since 3.1 and probably before then.
I dunno, maybe I just can't see it. But think about it. If you were an accountant you'd have a separate calculator with larger buttons. And if you were doing some advanced maths you'd have a hugely complex calculator, (as well as a massive blackboard and complete ineptitude around women), so who's going to want this?
About the only use I can think of is that you can type in 5138008 and write BOOBIES upside down… which is something to do other than play Minesweeper all day.
What's next? A full HD panel for the blind? A USB 2.0 tool for removing stones from horses hooves?
