Zaward Square - Introduction and Packaging

Introduction

Zaward is a company that few are likely to have heard of. Truth is, before this cooler arrived in the labs, few of us at HEXUS had heard of the company either.

If you've heard the name before, it was probably because Zaward was the worldwide agent for Globefan products. However, it recently decided to start making and distributing its own products. With only 534 employees worldwide - 500 of them working in the manufacturing location - Zaward is a minnow compared to some of the companies it's up against in the marketplace and in this group review.

The Zaward cooler we've tested is the Square, a solution using three heat-pipes and a fin-assembly that, believe it or not, has a square profile.

Packaging

Rather appropriately, the box that the Zaward ships in is square, too, well its footprint is, at any rate. It has a plain, predominantly grey, exterior that's not unpleasing to look at and carries a few tasteful shots of the cooler itself.

The design of the packaging is intelligent and takes advantage of the cooler's shape to make the box considerably more compact than for most coolers in this review.
