All signs suggest that Nvidia's GeForce GTX 960 is now just around the corner. We've already seen leaked pictures and premature 3DMark benchmarks, and according to the rumour mill, an official launch will take place on January 22nd.
Exciting times for PC gamers, as the x60-series GPU typically extends the reach of Nvidia's latest architecture by bringing it down to a more affordable price point. Following in the footsteps of the successful GTX 460, 560, 660 and 760 cards, the GTX 960 is expected to bringing Nvidia's cutting-edge Maxwell architecture to a wider audience, and if its predecessors are anything to go by, the new card may sell like hot cakes.

Architecture aside, the key ingredient in any x60-series GeForce graphics card is price. The table above highlights launch-day pricing for said SKU over the past five years, and we can see that Nvidia reckons the sweet spot lies between $200 and $250 bucks. That usually translates to UK pricing in the region of £150 - £200, inc. VAT.
But what do the consumers think? With less than a week until launch, how much would you realistically be willing to pay for a GeForce GTX 960, and what do you consider to be the sweet spot for a mid-to-high-end card? As always, let us know your thoughts using the comments facility below.
