Since the rebirth of multi-GPU technology, we've seen but a handful of graphics boards with two GPUs on them. However, trends say at least one AIB partner will make one for each GPU generation.
It's the turn of the X1900 series, then. Sapphire's stepped up as the company to engineer a dual-GPU X1950 Pro. Here's what we know so far: It's got two X1950 Pros on it. There you go. Well, what more do you want to know?
OK, OK, a little more... It'll likely be shown off at 2007's CES, though samples of the card have already been running 3D Mark benchmarks. Better still, there's mutterings of it paving the way for ATI's first quad-GPU CrossFire solution.
Still, you need not take our word for it, for we have photos...
Clearly, it's a big bugger, but at least it's only one massive board and not two... that'd be silly!
