We first saw the In Win D-Frame mini at Computex, back in June. Now we have had word from In Win that its mini-ITX version of the classic open-air tubular frame D-Frame chassis design is available worldwide.
Here we have a compact PC design based upon the "iconic D-Frame aluminium pipe" and tempered glass side panels design. With the increase in popularity and availability of mini-ITX parts this is probably a good market seam for In Win to mine. It has the cool look and great accessibility of the original D-Frame but with a much more compact and portable design. In Win insists that now users can build "nothing less than the ultimate gaming experience," into this mini chassis. The specs below reveal exactly what can be crammed inside this chassis…

Above, you can see in the specs, that it's possible to fit up to one 3.5-inch drive with two 2.5-inchers. Also maximum graphics card length and heights are 340mm and 150mm respectively. A cooler up to 165mm tall can also fit in the D-Frame mini. For active cooling you can fit fans and radiators up to 240mm.
HEXUS previously did a full review of the original full-sized In Win D-Frame chassis which you can read here. Parm loved the design and buildability on offer but was slightly perturbed by the threat of dust ingress and pricing. Those negatives are likely to be repeated with the D-Frame mini.
