Nintendo Revolution's 'Nunchaku' controller may send you cross-eyed

The latest Nintendo Revolution rumour suggests that the 'nunchaku' style expansion controller may be motion sensitive.

It's seems more feasible that Nintendo will include a 'rumble' function on the controller, otherwise wouldn't they be going against their own aim of creating an easy-to-use controller?

Do you remember trying to pat your head, whilst rubbing your belly? If the nunchacku style controller is motion sensitive, you'll have to be a master at hand-eye coordination. It could be very frustrating indeed.

The rumour suggests that, whilst the Revmote is known to be motion sensitive, and will control your wand, gun, sword etc... The 'nunchacku' controller may control the camera.







Nintendo have already stated that the "Nunchaku" add-on may well be shipped with the standard package. Let's hope they keep it simple.

That is way too complex. Nintendo has already said that simplicity is the focus here. They won't draw granny into the system with her already poor motor skills and precipitously declining cognitive abilities.

There still is a secret to the revmote. I don't think we'll find out until E3.

This makes sense - imagine using it as the shield and the main controller as the sword..

I still don't like the actual controller.. it just won't be the same as having a solid lump of plastic between your two hands. The missus says that she likes the look of the new set up and whatnot, but she's into all those new fangled fads. She spent £70 on a bloody purse.

We'll probably end up buying a Revolution for a new Mario Kart (I think there is one.. can't remember), so whether the controller will be the downfall of the Double Dash king (ME, yo!) or not, we shall have to see…

If this turns out as good as it's suggesting, then playing certain types of games is going to be even more fun than ever.

Thinking about it, it would be nice if there was an option to turn a motion sensor on or off on the add-on controller. It may be fun with some games, but really annoying with others.
