Futuremark has announced the release of the latest iteration in its PCMark line of system benchmarking software - PCMark 7.
Three editions make up the family, but it's only two that would be most relevant to end-users - the free Basic Edition, and the Advanced Edition which comes in at $39.95.

Akin to its name, PCMark 7 puts a system through seven testing suites and has been developed to take advantage of the latest technologies, such as SSDs.
