The inclusion of 'Blade' SSDs in the refreshed Macbook Air - which hit retail last October - was acknowledged as quite the interesting high point. There was even word that the SSDs, offered up by Toshiba, would find their way into other ultraportable laptops.
Toshiba's offering - plastered with the model number TS128C - found a foothold in the new Macbook Air but has now, seemingly, been pushed aside for the SM128C - believed, to be part of Samsung's repertoire.

This shift - whether temporary or not - appears to have taken place on the quiet, and is quite telling as the SM128C eclipses the TS128C in the performance stakes, as the chart above demonstrates, and also adds NCQ support.
