Antec has had a pretty busy start to the year - besides making a move into the audio market, the case-maker has released updated versions of several of its chassis, and now two more models are getting the same treatment.
First up is the Six Hundred V2, although you'd be hard pressed - at least aesthetically - to tell it from the original. Apparently the big change is the addition of a hot-swappable 2.5in drive caddy hidden behind a discrete front panel - a change from the 3.5in caddy on the V1. There's also room for a bottom mounted 2.5in drive, bring the total number of bays up one to 11.
Otherwise, the mid-tower chassis seems pretty much unchanged, meaning that there's still room for seven add-in cards, four 120mm fans and cable routing behind the motherboard. As well as shipping with a single 120mm fan in the rear, the Six Hundred comes with its signature 200mm blower mounted in the top to help keep the air moving.
The slightly tweaked chassis should be available now for $109.95 (£86 inc VAT), although - like the original - it's probably available for much less if you shop around.
Also getting an update is the outlandish Skeleton case - although the changes are a lot easier to spot this time around. The open air chassis is getting a makeover in white, although otherwise it's exactly the same as the 2008 original. If you had no love for the Skeleton back then the paint job isn't likely to change your mind, but the new look manages to make the case even more striking than before.
Like the original, the bone-white Skeleton will be available for somewhere around £150.
