NVIDIA is no stranger to corporate mudslinging, but it has this week been given a taste of its own medicine by rival manufacturer AMD.

Poking fun at NVIDIA's Fermi-derived GeForce GTX 400-series GPUs, AMD has produced a two-minute video dubbed "The Misunderstanding", through which it provides "a humorous look at the risks of using anything but an ATI Radeon graphics card for gaming".

We won't spoil the punch lines, but we'll be honest; the clip did make us chuckle. Take a look below.

Perhaps the nose-picking gamers featured in the video managed to get their hands on a 512-core GTX 480?

We kid, but we get the feeling NVIDIA won't be laughing.

Quite enjoy these sorts of marketing ploys :D, would be interesting to see if nvidia will attempt to hit back in a similar sort of fashion.

Thought the XFX “viral videos” were pretty amusing when they came out.

I loled.
“Keep cool, keep all the power.” - Not very catchy or clever, just a very simple thrown together line :S.

But on a completely different note, does anyone else love that AMD noise right at the end of that video?
Well Nvidia started it with the “DX 11 done right” campaign.
haha, made me laugh! :D
