Our review showed that the GTX 465 was a little slower than the Radeon HD 5850 GPU when evaluated across four modern games but remained a reasonable bet at sub-£250.
Now that the dust has settled, let's investigate what etailers are charging for NVIDIA's latest GPU in our pricing round-up.

All GeForce GTX 465s are clocked in at a reference 607MHz core, 1,215MHz shader, and 3,206MHz GDDR5 memory. Palit and Gigabyte offer non-reference models, however.
At the time of writing, only the Point of View GeForce GTX 465 is in stock, priced at £246.12. The average pre-order pricing is £251.08. GeForce GTX 470 1,280MB, an intrinsically better GPU, is available for £284.66, and we reckon that the £40 premium is worth it if frame-rates are your primary concern.
ATI's Radeon HD 5850 in-stock and pre-order pricing is a little lower than GeForce GTX 465's, but the cost has been steadily increasing in the last six months, mainly due to a deteriorating exchange rate.
GeForce GTX 465 pricing is keener in the States, as all cards are priced at $279.99, plus taxes, and they specifically include a Just Cause 2 coupon. US pricing means that the GTX 465 is cheaper than the Radeon HD 5850. If such a move was followed in the UK we reckon that the GTX 465 would be etailing for £210-£230, including VAT, and that would be enough to take it from an average to good proposition.
What do you think? Would you buy a GeForce GTX 465 if it was selling for £219.99?
