AMD has made available a new release of its ATI Catalyst graphics driver.
Version 10.5, available to download from game.amd.com, brings with it support for 120Hz displays on Radeon HD 4000 and 3000 series GPUs, as well as ATI Overdrive improvements for multi-display configurations.
Available for Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP and Linux operating systems, the new release also adds support for Novell Linux distribution SLES 11 SP1.
Although AMD isn't touting specific performance boosts, the driver release notes do highlight a number of bug fixes - including resolved issues specific to the likes of Battlefield Bad Company 2, Mass Effect 2 and Empire: Total War.
AMD details the driver's new features as follows:
