Introduction



The launch of a high-end graphics card is always a good occasion for a system-builder to release a new line of machines.

NVIDIA and its partners are now bringing GeForce GTX 480 and GeForce GTX 470 - both consumer interpretations of the Fermi architecture - to market for £400+ and £300+, respectively.

Scan's putting two GeForce GTX 480s into a 3XS system with the hope of engineering a gaming-orientated PC with an uber-tasty specification. We find out if Scan's effort is worthwhile.
