We recommend, if possible, spacing the GPUs out so that there's a card-thick gap between the two. Excellent ventilation and a side-mounted fan are essential, too, because two GeForce GTX 480s next to one another push the heatsinks' abilities to the maximum.



The fans also become rather annoying when playing a game. Looking slightly ahead, we can see SI-built GeForce GTX 480 multi-GPU systems being watercooled.
