Introduction
HEXUS looked at the 'all-new' NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275 last week and surmised that, on balance, it offered a touch more value than the also-new Radeon HD 4890 graphics card.
A week on and stock availability of the GeForce GTX 275 is still pretty thin on the ground, whereas multiple-manufacturer HD 4890s are available from pretty much everywhere.
Interestingly, NVIDIA stalwart BFG will not be coming to market with a reference-clocked card, and it's only current offering is the OC Edition that's overclocked on every performance parameter.
Costing around £35 more than the cheapest card, let's see if it can hold the ATI Radeon HD 4890s - XT and OC - at bay.
