Possibly the worst-kept secret from the last month or so, NVIDIA and ATI are, today, officially announcing high-end gaming cards that will etail at between £200-£250. Known as GeForce GTX 275 and Radeon HD 4890 for the green and red team, respectively, both new GPUs are plays and derivations on what we've seen before.

What are they? How fast are they? How much value do they provide? There's only one way to find out.
