The folks at Cooler Master seem to have too much time on their hands, and when they're not hard at work designing the latest-greatest chassis, it seems they have another hobby - jump starting cars using their own power supplies.

In an effort to show that a Silent Pro 500W power supply has more than enough juice for your average PC, Cooler Master's technical marketing manager René Grau has used one to power up a whole car. Check out the video below.

We've been getting tired of the sheer number of power supplies now available, and it has become increasingly difficult to distinguish between them. In Cooler Master's defence, a box label stating "could kick start your car" might just work in its favour. That is, until a competitor takes a 1,000W PSU and jump starts a nicer-looking vehicle.

But could it jump-start a Toyota Hiace pickup?

When I see it powering an arc welding setup then I'll be more impressed
