A-DATA was quick out the gate with its DDR3 1,600 and DDR 1,333 tri-channel kits back in October, and it's today bolstering its Core i7 line-up with the launch of DDR3 modules that it's touting as the "ultimate memory for overclocking".

The modules in question are the A-DATA XPG DDR3-2133X v2.0, and they're tested to operate at 2,133MHz with CL10-10-10-30 timings. Very quick, in other words.

Keeping the modules cool are aluminium heatspreaders and a dual-blue 50mm LED fan. They'll spin at up to 3,500rpm and create 21.8dB of noise, but that'll do little to deter the ultimate performance-seeking enthusiast.

The kits will be available in triple-channel 3GB and 6GB capacities for Core i7 users, as well as dual-channel 2GB and 4GB kits for us lesser folks.

No word on pricing, but they'll be backed by A-DATA's lifetime warranty when they hit retail.

ROFL no thanks! Fans that small and running at those speeds will whine louder then a money-starved football WAG
