The gaming benchmark's result is predicated by the graphics card in the slot, obviously. The Studio XPS' GeForce 9800 GT puts up a reasonable showing at 1,920x1,200, but can't match the GeForce GTX 260 and Radeon HD 4870 X2 in the PC Specialist and Chillblast PCs, respectively.

The Studio XPS will offer reasonable gaming performance but die-hard gamers should look elsewhere.

The idle-load power-draw is reasonable but concurrently stressing the CPU cores and GPU pushes wattage, as measured at the mains, perilously close to the PSU's 360W limit.
