It's turning into a day of PSUs. Corsair and OCZ have already served up their offerings, and now its BFG's turn to announce a quartet of power supplies that promise high-end features at affordable prices.
The units, part of the LS and MX series, feature four +12V rails and offer up to 85 per cent efficiency, fully-sleeved cables, high-quality capacitors and NVIDIA SLI certification.
They're available in both 550W and 680W models, and there are two notable differences between series. The MX editions have the added bonus of modular cables, but feature a smaller 120mm fan and a 80mm "helper" fan that only kicks in when needed. The LS series doesn't offer modular cable management but features a single 135mm fan that should be a little quieter.
Each PSU is backed by a five-year warranty, and they're already available from Scan.co.uk as follows:
