Dell has today launched an upgrade to its all-in-one range of XPS PCs in the form of the XPS One 24.
The new system, pictured below, features a larger 24in 16:9 display that provides a 1,920x1,080 resolution ideal for viewing high-def movies. Pricing for the XPS One 24 starts at $1,699 - that's $700 more than the base 20in model - but the higher premium brings with it a handful of other upgrades, too.
The XPS One 24 is armed with an Intel 2.33GHz Core 2 Quad Q8200 processor and 4GB of DDR2 memory as standard. Graphics are courtesy of the on-board Intel GMA X4500HD, and there's a 320GB hard-disk drive for storage. Blu-ray is available as an additional extra, and the system can be ordered in three colours; Midnight Grey, Pure White and (PRODUCT) RED.
A second beefed-up 24in model, priced at $1,999, adds a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT and a 750GB hard-disk drive. It's undoubtedly pricey, but it's one of the tidiest well-spec'd PCs that we've seen.
No news on UK availability just yet, but US customers can place orders at Dell.com.
