It seems like everyone's in a hurry to get netbooks into the market for the Christmas period, and hot on the heels of Samsung is Toshiba.
The Tokyo-based consumer-electronics giant has revealed its Satellite NB105 - its first-ever netbook system - and it's quite the looker.
Unlike the plain white and plastic-like appearance of many other netbooks, Toshiba's ultra-portable system retains the look of sophistication found on its full-size notebooks.
Unfortunately, aesthetics aside, the Satellite NB105 is very much your run-of-the-mill netbook. It'll feature an 8.9in screen, Intel's 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard-disk drive and Microsoft's Windows XP operating system.
It's expected to reach the market in November, but pricing is yet to be confirmed.
