Thoughts

The TV Wonder USB 2.0 is a simple product to rate. Take the multimedia hardware and software that makes an All-In-Wonder so good, give them a USB2.0 interface, enjoy high quality TV tuning and video capture simply, easily and cheaply.

A $99 product in the United States, the TV Wonder USB 2.0 is very likely, unless I'm missing something revolutionary in the world of low cost peripheral TV tuning, the absolute best product in its device and price class.

I prefer the PCI version for latency reasons, but if USB2.0 is the interface you need for a TV tuner and multimedia product without breaking the bank, the TV Wonder USB 2.0 is highly recommended. The software needs significant spit and polish, to rectify some aesthetic and usability issues, but coupled with a RemoteWonder II, the TV Wonder is how I'd enjoy low-cost, high-quality TV tuning on my PC.

We await the new Theater 550 PRO-based versions with excitement, since they'll bring PCI Express compatibility and digital TV tuning to the same core market.
