PRESS RELEASE

The new range of App-enabled accessories from Philips initially includes four products with a wide scope of functions: from keeping an eye on your home & belongings, to keeping a close HD watch on your baby, or helping you to find your lost smartphone and finally, updating an existing hi-fi to play music wirelessly.

The first product in the range is the Philips In.Sight camera which allows you to monitor what is happening in your home, either through your smartphone or tablet and from wherever you are.

Installation is fast and easy: simply download the app and you can set up the wireless monitor in a matter of minutes without the need for a computer. The app generates a QR code that allows the In.Sight camera to automatically set itself up.

Multiple monitors can be placed in different rooms and your family members can also keep an eye on your home for you from their smartphone or tablet - once you have granted them access.

Once installed, should there be any movement or noise in the house, the app will notify you via an immediate alert and will make a video recording, automatically uploaded to a free Dropbox account for easy viewing.

However, if you just want to keep an eye on children or a pet in another room, simply tap on your screen for an instant view.

The In.Sight Home Monitor is now on sale in Apple stores and at Apple.com/uk priced £179.95 for the duo camera pack and £99.95 for the single pack.

Keep close to your baby at all times with the Philips In.Sight Baby Monitor (B120).

The In.Sight Baby Monitor (A 2013 CEA Innovations Award winner) allows you to watch and listen to your baby from anywhere in the home on your smartphone or tablet.

High Definition video quality means you can see your baby in sharp detail, and a night vision option allows you to check on your baby while they sleep.

A wide-angle lens ensures you can be safe in the knowledge that your child will always be seen, and a digital zoom lets you see every detail.

You can also watch the live stream on 2 different devices, so both Mum and Dad can watch from different locations. And with a continuous audio feature, you can hear your baby or soothe them via the parent talkback feature.

As the ambiance of the room is also important to ensure your baby gets a good night's sleep, a temperature and humidity sensor is included and can be monitored using the In.Sight app.

The In.Sight Baby Monitor is easy to set up via a QR code and for safety and security an encrypted networking connection between the monitor and your mobile device means only you - or those you choose - can see your baby.

The In.Sight Baby Monitor is on sale now through Apple stores and Apple.com/uk priced £149.95.

Do you struggle to keep track of your valuables?

Philips' InRange has been developed to ensure you never lose your precious belongings.

InRange works with all Bluetooth enabled devices including Apple's iPhone and iPad and is a simple, thin credit-card shaped ‘leash', that measures just 3.8mm thick, which when inserted into your wallet, or placed in the protective pouch - that attaches onto your luggage or keys - connects to the app and creates an invisible tie to your phone.

You can set the range of the leash - either far or close - and once you move further from your product than the distance selected you will be immediately notified via the app.

The InRange can also help you find your iPhone: simply press the button in the middle of the unit and a message will be sent to your phone, activating an alert and allowing you to follow the noise to locate it. And thanks to the latest Bluetooth smart wireless technology InRange has extremely low energy usage with the battery lasting for up to three months.

The InRange is available now in Apple stores and Apple.com/uk priced £44.95.
