The Storm Bee is back, samples now available to review
London, UK, 3rd September 2012 - Wireless accessory manufacturer BeeWi, today announces the sample availability of a Bluetooth controlled helicopter called the Storm Bee. After winning ‘Best New Bluetooth product' at the coveted ‘SIG Best of CES Awards' earlier this year, the Storm Bee is back and available in the UK. After downloading the free BeeWi Helipad app and pairing directly via Bluetooth 2.1, budding pilots can demonstrate their ‘Blue Thunder-esque' navigational skills with friends and family via intuitive gyroscope motion control sensors. Simply tilting or turning a paired smartphone or tablet will take the helicopter to new heights in the home. A touch screen interface is also available on the App Store or Play Store for those who prefer flight at their fingertips. Once in the air, RAF wannabes can enjoy hours of fun completing time trials and dodging obstacles in either a beginner or expert mode.
Dual rotostructure blades allow for extra stability when flying and provide an enhanced user experience as the Storm Bee hovers or lands. Designed primarily for indoor use and measuring only 18 x 8 x7.5 cm, the user friendly helicopter boasts up to 10 minutes of intuitive and stable flight time when piloting the device within a 20 metre range.
