Sky Go cements its position as the home of mobile TV as 14 new channels join the service

Sky Go extends leadership in mobile TV becoming the home of the widest range of entertainment channels anywhere with 3G/4G or Wi-Fi signal 

From today, Sky Go the award-winning mobile TV service, will offer a further 14 entertainment channels to watch across the full set of Sky Go compatible devices. Now with the widest range of entertainment channels anywhere you like, customers have an even greater choice of what to watch on Sky Go whenever they want in line with their subscriptions. 

Comedy Central, MTV, Dave, Watch, Gold, Discovery, Nat Geo and History are just a selection of the 14 new channels that can now be watched with any Sky Go device. So if customers want to remind themselves of some of Dynamo's biggest stunts in Dynamo: Magician Impossible (Watch),or listen to Jack Dee's twisted storytelling in Crackanory (Dave) or simply keep up with talked about shows like Geordie Shore (MTV); it's all there on Sky Go if the main TV is being used by someone else at home.

Whether on the train home, preparing dinner in the kitchen or relaxing on the sofa there are more award-winning shows from an even wider range of channels for customers to watch at no extra cost live or on demand. There are now up to 57 different channels available on Sky Go with 40 entertainment channels sitting alongside 6 Sky Sports channels and 11 Sky Movies channels.

Sky Go continues to see millions of On Demand viewing requests, with just over 3 million requests to watch shows and movies On Demand during early October (7-13th) as The Blacklist continued on Sky Living and preview episodes of crime thriller The Tunnel and Stephen Merchant's Hello Ladies became available.  Sky Go Extra has also proved popular with users with 219,000 upgrading to the new service in the last quarter, allowing them to use Sky Go on more devices and download shows and movies to watch wherever they are.

  • Gold - including You, Me & Them and The Two Ronnies Spectacle available On Demand

  • Dave - including Red Dwarf X and Storage Hunters available On Demand
  • Alibi- including Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries and Rizzoli & Isles available On Demand
  • Nat Geo - including Meet The Polygamists and Prospectors available On Demand
  • Nat Geo Wild- including World's Weirdest and Fish Tank Kings II
  • Discovery - including Bear Grylls: Escape From Hell and Ice Pilots
  • TLC - including Toddlers and Tiaras and Beauty & The Geek Australia
  • Animal Planet - including My Cat From Hell and Finding Bigfoot
  • History - including Ice Road Truckers and Pawn Stars available On Demand
  • Good Food - including Choccywoccydoodah
  • Eden - including David Attenborough's Natural Curiosities

In addition to adding more great channels, Sky TV customers with Entertainment Extra+ can also now watch a wide range of TV Box Sets from ABC TV on Sky Go including Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy.
