After 30 years, the hits continue as NOW That's What I Call Music arrives on Smart TV 

24th October 2013, London UK- Working in partnership with NOW That's What I Call Music LLP, Samsung is bringing decades of pop hits to the big screen with the launch of its latest Smart TV App from NOW Music. The new App provides music fans with on-demand access to Now's huge music library, including some of the biggest hits of all time from the last 30 years of Now That's What I Call Music compilation albums. All videos are powered by VEVO, the world's leading all-premium music video and entertainment platform, through a syndication deal.

Available from the Smart TV store, Samsung Apps, the NOW Music Smart TV App lets viewers enjoy and discover current chart music along with accessing bespoke NOW playlists, which span all genres of music across three decades. Viewers will be able to look back at chart hits including Michael Jackson's ‘Billie Jean,' Eurthymics' ‘Sweet Dreams' Take That's ‘Back For Good' through to Rihanna's ‘Umbrella', Justin Timberlake's ‘Mirrors' and many more. Curated Video playlists and charts are also available to make it even easier to immerse yourself in a world of pop music.

Plus if you don't know where to start, with just a few clicks on your remote you can generate a playlist for your every mood with the NOW playlist generator whether you fancy some 00s Dance, 90s Rock, 80s No.1s and more the NOW app has it covered.

What's more, music enthusiasts can also achieve wireless sound with Samsung SoundShare1. By synchronising their TV to Samsung's range of compatible sound bars and docking products2, music fans can achieve an enhanced sound experience for the living room.

The NOW That's What I Call Music App will join an ever-growing collection of services available on Samsung Smart TVs such as, Full Catch TV (ITV Player, BBC iPlayer, 4oD and Demand 5), Netflix, LOVEFiLM, Rightmove, Spotify, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. ‘Samsung Apps' is the first and biggest App store available for TVs, with over 20 million Apps already downloaded worldwide, proof that consumers are rapidly embracing the Smart TV format. 

The NOW App is available on all 2012 and 2013 Samsung Smart TV models.
