These new headphones combine Xtreme Fidelity technologies – never before used in headphones – with Active Noise Cancellation, introducing an entirely new acoustic environment to discriminating listeners in search of purer sound delivery and reduced background distractions.
The key Xtreme Fidelity technologies include X-Fi Crystalizer, which restores the details and vibrancy lost in compressed music such as MP3, and X-Fi CMSS-3D, which positions vocals and instruments 'around' the listener for more natural, immersive, listening. Creative has also deployed Active Noise Cancellation technology, which removes background sounds up to 20dB to enable users to enjoy their entertainment.
All these features are individually selectable via switches conveniently located on the earcups. The Active Noise Cancellation feature can also be operated when the headphones are not connected to a sound source, to give wearers a quiet environment in which to relax.
Creative has also paid close attention to ergonomics and engineering when creating these unique, premium headphones. Precise 40mm Neodymium drivers ensure high-fidelity results with all kinds of digital content, while high-quality cushioning keeps the user comfortable for many hours. The design, which is practical as well as contemporary and elegant, folds flat for easy packing.
