PRESS RELEASE

TV software experts DVBLogic today announce that all DVBLink products now have Mac OS X Support. Mac users can now enjoy the convenience of watching live and recorded TV with DVBLink within a home network and on the go. FreeView and FreeViewHD can be watched and recorded on the Mac OS platform with DVBLogic’s TVButler tuner. Also sat > ip receivers can be used to record and watch FreeSat TV channels.

It‘s now easy to use Mac OS as a TV Server with all DVBLogic products such as DVBLink TVSource, DVBLink for IPTV, DVBLink for Dreambox and DVBLink TVAdviser. DVBLink is compatible with Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) and Mac OS X 10:11 (El Capitan) accounting for almost total coverage of the Apple market. Mac OS can also be used with DVBLink software as a home TV server platform, with the Mac Mini or an iMac system.  “We’re delighted that the DVBLink product suite for Mac is now available” comments Pavlo Barvinko DVBLogic CTO and Founder. “If you’re away at relatives over the holiday period you now don’t need to miss any of your favourite TV programmes!”

A DVBLink Server installation on a compatible device - NAS , Windows, Linux, Raspberry PI and now Mac OS - makes it easy to watch both live TV and recorded programs on your home network or to stream when you are on the road. This stream can be played back on compatible output devices such as DLNA devices, Kodi, iOS, Android, and all Web interfaces.

The following Tuners (hardware) are supported by the DVBLink server platform: TVButler from DVBLogic, receivers that support the Sat2IP protocol (available on the market as DVB-S, DVB-S2, DVB-C or DVB-T) and HDHomeRun Network-Tuner.

TVButler by DVBLogic is the easy way with DVB-T, DVB-T2 and DVB-C reception, to turn a NAS drive into a powerful home TV-Server. Live and recorded TV programmes are stored in original digital broadcast TV quality. So if you are on holiday, away at relatives for Christmas, or on a business trip, as long as an Internet connection is available, you can have access at any time to all your favourite programs. DVBLogic TVButler is now available on amazon.co.uk

DVBLogic also announces support for NAS vendor ASUSTOR’s new models AS1002T and AS1004T.
