London, United Kingdom. - HARMAN International Industries today announced availability of the JBL® JembeTM and JembeTM Wireless desktop speakers, compact and lightweight systems that deliver a sound considerably larger than its footprint. The two-piece JembeTM entertainment systems continue the JBL® engineers' leadership in developing distinctive, realistic-sounding desktop speakers for the home and office.
The JBL® JembeTM speakers are designed for flexibility and portability, as they can be used with a PC or laptop but also as a dynamic two-piece speaker system for digital music players, smartphones and gaming consoles. Computers and devices such as an iPad, iPod or iPhone connect to the JembeTM speakers through a 3.5-millimeter auxiliary output, while a separate headphone jack allows for private listening. The JembeTM speakers are built with patented JBL®Slipstream port technology, which improves performance by delivering full bass with minimum distortion.
The JBL® JembeTM Wireless desktop speakers provide a powerful sound in a petite, wireless package. Designed to work with your Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as your laptop, mobile phone, tablet and MP3 player, the JembeTM speakers will give you exceptional audio filled with clear, crisp acoustics. Each of the individual speakers feature a built-in powerful amplifier, a powered 2.0 computer system and a Slipstream port that creates a rich bass with low distortion.

The JembeTM and JembeTM Wireless speakers feature the JBL® Weave design and come in black. They measure 4-3/16" x 4-3/16" x 5-5/16" and have a volume control knob on top of one speaker for simple adjustments. Power controls can also be found on top, while a front-mounted LED light indicates when the power is on.
