Launched in February 2009, the updated site with its refreshed design showcases the VIP vendor portfolio, generating brand awareness and driving sales. VIP have added a range of new features but ensured that simplicity and usability have not been compromised.
New RSS feeds keep subscribers up-to-date with the latest VIP, Market and XML news. The homepage now includes a Quick Search tool, enabling users to access a specific product page through the input of a single order code. To be kept informed of special offers and new products from VIP, customers can sign-up for a daily e-shot by submitting their email address on the homepage. VIP press releases and published clippings are available to view on-line or download in a new Press Centre section.
A number of useful features have been retained from the previous site including a series of reference tools for access to XML feeds via VIP's DAS service, live stock and up-to-date pricing, full customer account history details and a complete database of product images and specifications. On a day-to-day operational level, customers can communicate in an instant with every department via the express email function and even manage their account and returns on-line.
With such a vast level of detail available at the click of a button, VIP has worked to ensure that the data remains safe thanks to secure encryption password access.
