VIP Computer Centre Ltd (VIP), the UK's leading independent distributor of computer components and peripherals, today announced stock of Antec's revolutionary enclosure, the Skeleton, the world's first open-air case, changing the face of the computer case market.
This one is truly special. On first sight the Skeleton (VIP Order Code: 100345) relishes the opportunity to capture imagination so it is easy to see why gamers and perpetual tinkerers alike will be more than satisfied; its unique design oozes style and instils intrigue.
Whilst its unprecedented natural ability to cool components is unique, the extra support it receives from the front 92mm fan and top, 3-speed, 250mm fan is first-rate. When the top fan is in use, it displays a swirling, changing mix of rainbow colours through its multi-coloured LED to wow gamers and send them packing to their nearest PC shop to make the purchase.
The Skeleton is split in two levels; upper and lower. The upper level houses the motherboard and is therefore directly cooled by the massive 250mm top fan. The lower level supports a power supply, 2 optical drives and 2 hard drives. This layered system offers the ultimate convenience for those wishing to tweak their system, allowing the trays to slide out for quick and easy access. Seven expansion slots offer space for 11" video cards and its Rackmount quality side rails provide greater durability, which is useful considering the user may remove and re-insert components on a regular basis given the very nature of the Skeleton.
Victoria Davies, Product Manager at VIP, commented: "Yet again Antec are proving to be in front of the competition by producing a chassis like the Skeleton. Since the Skeleton was first announced VIP has received a lot of enquires from customers who are eagerly awaiting this stock"
