Well I really dont know what to say about this guy, dishonest liar would be a good start. He has now declared that he is leaving the hexus forums for a while, no reason given... He sold me a barebones laptop described as "new and unused" I asked him for the original receipt but he then proceeded to tell me he had bought the item from ebay for £250, ok fair enough I thought, haggled the price down to £170 and paid him. The laptop arrives and clearly is not as described. Pieces were broken off, there was a lot of wear around the screen area, the lid was scratched and the laptop had clearly been dismantled and not put back together properly. There was also clumps of dust in the fans and an imprint on the heatsink where a cpu had been. When confronted with the above info I asked him to show me the ebay link to the item, he gave various reasons why he couldnt, all of which were rubbish. Once again I asked him where he got it and received the reply, "From ebay, the seller must have bought it from misco because there was a misco receipt in the box" I again asked for the ebay link but this time he came clean... He himself bought the item from misco, the item was never on ebay ! He also paid much less than the £250 he was trying to scam out of me. I can still put this barebones laptop to use, but why oh why did Dougal find it necessary to spin me a pack of lies My final message to Dougal asked for an explanation for his lies, and asking if he could send me the receipt.... he hasnt bothered responding. Hexus mod David was kept informed of proceedings and he summed up Dougal in one simple sentence "The guy is clearly an idiot" How true he is ::/ |

Its abought time I got round to doing this so here it is: I bought a 17" monitor off ken A few days later I received a network card from ken....I emailed ken and it turned out hed been a bit of a tit :D My monitor was still waiting to be picked up and ken had put my addy on someone elses parcel too. When the monitor finally arrived I passed it on to its new owner. But when I came home from work I was greeted by the new owner saying it had blown up :( So I emailed ken again who offered me a brand new monitor as a replacement for a small fee of £15 I think it was :D The new monitor arrived in perfect nic and so ends our deal It took a while to sort out be we got there in the end. This man is true to his word and very good to deal with.. You wont be disapointed |
