Purchased a disk which the system had problems with right from the start. Their engineer tried to blame the motherboard, even thought I already had other SATA II 500GB Disks on it so obviously I needed a BIOS upgrade or else the device just isn't compatiable, well as far as he was concerned but then in my opinion the muppet (Sales Rep) knew squat and I avoid him like the plague if I have to go there.
I left the disk with them, PAID the £15 fee for them to test and then went and brought a replacement elsewhere. They couldn't find any fault so got it back a while later and again it failed. Ended up sending it back to the manufacturer (Maxtor) who replaced it, and guess what, it had a fault. So yoyo - BYTE ME!!!
