I ordered Corsair memory on a Tuesday. On Wednesday they said the goods were being despatched.
I asked for shipping details on the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I finally asked for a refund on the Wednesday. On the Thursday, they said they had refunded me when they didn't. I told them so within minutes.
What annoyed me more than anything, is that there is no phone number on their site. They do list a phone number with Yell, but that is a premium rate number AND YOU GET CHARGED FOR LISTENING TO AN ENGAGED TONE. I have complained to Ofcom about that.
By the Friday I lost my patience and I paid Companies House for Casetech's last tax return and on there I found the home address of their M.D. - From that I got his home phone number.
I phoned Steve Wright and gave him a very hard time and quite rightly so.
He tried to fob me off about giving a refund next week so that they could "file a proper dispute resolution with PayPal"
I had none of it as I knew that if he refunded me, the PayPal dispute is closed autmatically and that's the end of it.
Be careful with Steve, he tries anything to blame you or make you feel guilty, e.g. by phoning his house, or filing a PayPal dispute.
Have none of it. Stand firm and demand that money back. I got my money back off him. Remember, don't stand for his b.s. - be aggresive and you'll get your money back.
Remind him that you have his personal details.
If anyone wants his personal details to chase up a refund let me know. I'll gladly help.
