Bought an X1950XT and some RAM plus a couple of other items from scan. Pros Good prices, good products as always. Cons I wasn't notified that my delivery had been delayed due to the warehouse being very busy. Scan say they will e-mail if the order is going to be delayed, but this is the second time now that I've only been informed of a delay once I've called their customer service department. |

I ordered several hardware components, some of which were out of stock, but were marked as 1-2 days lead time. It wasn't until I called Scan after about 4 days that I discovered the case I wanted had no ETA. Would have been nice if they had told me sooner. Anyway, I cancelled that part of the order with no problems. The rest arrived, and all except the Hiperpower 580W modular PSU were fine. The PSU was faulty, so I returned it. The RMA process was very fast and good. When the new PSU arrived I noticed it was packaged differently (e.g. a platic shrink wrap on the new that wasn't on the old and the first PSU was missing the screws.) which lead me to believe that first PSU wasn't brand new. Overall though I was very pleased with the items, the prices, the delivery and the returns process. |
