Bought a 6800 GT graphics card from Tony. Superb comms and very fast delivery. I recommend Tony very much. Great person to trade with. I was a bit nervous at first because of what [i]AZH2006[/i] wrote but i went ahead anyway as all the rest of the comments by other buyers / sellers were A+. I Purchased a Creative 20GB hdd from this fella, I offered him £25 to include RMSD (ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY), i felt this was a fair amount as he only paid £21 delivered see here http://forums.hexus.net/showpost.php?p=773465&postcount=82 http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/5797/untitled5fb1.jpg - no doubt he'll edit it out like he did on the other forums. http://forums.hexus.net/showpost.php?p=774733&postcount=89 http://img122.imageshack.us/img122/2824/untitled28xd.jpg It was paid for cash over the counter next day, which ofcourse everyone should know is immediate. I get a pm an hour later telling me it had'nt appeared in his account, i asked him to let me know as cash usually appears immediatly. All of a sudden the story changed, he addmitted he couldnt log in online as he was having problems which led into it not being sent out that day (please bare in mind this is not the issue, i can appreacite people can be busy etc...) Back to the story - Next day 8:30am (mind you before the post office opens) i receive a pm telling me he just sent it 1st class recorded (which i didnt ask for) when queried: he said he ment he sent it Special Delivery, which was apparantly a Typo from him (lol). Since when does a Special Delivery Refernce no start with a DP....? lol. I asked the moderators to have a look at the pms between us to verify all the communication between us, and its there in the Post black and white i offered (RMSD) Royal Mail Special Delivery. Which he cant for some reason relate to, and ontop of that he edited his initial post removing all the contents leaving "Please Close Thread" to hide his BS. Now he reckons he purchased 3 of these and was selling me the higher priced one. Im not sure if he is a comedian but he humored me the whole time with all the nonsense lies. At the end of the day i didnt mind if he was HONEST with me, which he clearly wasnt. However i did thank him for it as its working fine and arrived safely. Oh and hes banned from here too (it seems) lol

This guy bought a 20g Portable Hard drive off of me and he gave me nothing but grief! I would stay clear of him as he is a born liar. Go elsewhere if you want something he has. Don't trust him. He did not like it because i would not give him special delivery on the item (I gave him Recorded delivery). He moaned because i could not post it off straight away! I also bought several of these 20g Hard drives, some at a cheaper price and others at a higher price. The one he got was still cheaper than what i bought it for. A right idiot. Stay clear of this joker. He has spoilt what is a very good record i have when selling / buying. Just don't deal with this joker! He is such a jerk!

RMA process is terrible. Expect to wait a very long time for a refund. Approx 3 weeks or more. This has happenend several times with me! Thread below has nothing to do with rating. Scan are terrible at getting RMA's sorted out efficiently or quickly. Many times i have had to wait weeks for a refund. Check out other threads on Hexus about the waiting time for RMA's to get completed. Absolutely terrible!! They always make up excuses about RMA process. Doesn't matter how many times you send an item back and for whatever reason, you have a right to a smooth process. You don't get this with Scan. They come up with figures about my 40% returns etc etc. Just because they don't like to be criticised. Because i complained about thier aweful RMA procedure they banned me from the Scan section of the Hexus forums!! If you have a complaint against Scan beware as they don't like it. Just read the Hexus forums for all the complaints they get about wrongly stated items in stock when in fact by the time you have paid for them and they have taken you money the items suddenly are not in stock!!! And the complaints about thier very long returns process where they keep your money for weeks before you get it back!! Beware of Scan. If you want a smooth, hassle free service go to another e-tailor. They used to have good reviews / awards. Now they don't because things have gone terrible there. AVOID SCAN LIKE THE PLAGUE!
